What we do
We reinforce your management’s team on a temporary or ongoing basis to provide a ‘Cold Eyes Review’ on-site and hands-on assistance in assessing, anticipating and preventing potential problems or in solving existing ones to achieve client’s goals within the requested timeframe.
Using our collective knowledge, and experience, with honesty and integrity we can assist clients to convert paper projects into producing mines in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe.
For mining companies we provide cost-effective, value-adding support for any stage of your project. Our collective experience, knowledge and skillsets provide an additional resource for junior miners, early-stage developers and producers, to augment your team to provide hands-on operational site-based or remote assistance on a task-specific, ad-hoc, interim or ongoing basis as required.
For managers our consultants can review, improve and focus the financial reporting processes, optimise funding uses (opex and capex reviews), tailor KPIs reporting and articulate the investment proposition to the private and public markets audiences.
For investors we conduct on-site 3rd party peer review, assessment and verification of activities and performance of invested operations, to provide first-hand reports and recommendations for clients investing in challenging locations and environments.
StraTactic supports both mining companies and investors to monitor or manage the activities and performance of EPC and other consultants including reviewing and framing terms and conditions, scope definition, or producing studies and reports.
StraTactic consultants can assist with government and community relations, financial controls and administration, HSE matters, human resources, industrial relations, security, rights of way, land acquisition and export logistics.
Secure from the start
Our combined senior team skills and experience exceed 100 years collectively and are well suited to the early-stage project development, including political risk assessment and security considerations. We can bring insight into managing local cultural, political and social sensitivities arising from all sectors of society, including local media and departments and government bureaucracies.
We can play an active role beyond initial review, diagnostics and troubleshooting, working alongside and guiding clients’ teams to achieve objectives efficiently.
We work on the ground identifying and offering solutions for management, exploration, engineering review, construction, logistic and infrastructure bottlenecks and weaknesses.
